Ready...Set...COOK!!
Is your mom's pumpkin pie recipe the best? Can you make pumpkin bread pudding souffle, or something even more creative? Then enter your recipe in the New Mexico Pumpkin Festival Recipe Contest!
Rules:
- Each recipe must feature canned or fresh pumpkin.
- Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Best Traditional Use of Pumpkin, Most Unique of Pumpkin and Use of Pumpkin in a (non-alcoholic) Drink
- Only entries presented on disposable containers will be accepted. Exhibitors name must be clearly marked on the bottom of the container.
- Entries of the New Mexico Pumpkin Festival Recipe Contest will be judged on Sunday, October 9th, 2011 at the Mesilla Valley Maze. Judging will begin at 2:30 pm in the Big Tent and prizes will be awarded immediately.
- Entries must be brought to the New Mexico Pumpkin Festival by 2:30 pm on Sunday, October 9th, 2011. Please bring finished product and entry form to the competition.
- The judge's decision is final.

- Best Traditional Recipe: Pumpkin Drop Cupcakes
- Best Drink Recipe: Simply Pumpkin, Orange and Ginger Nectar
- Best Unique Recipe: Mini Turtle Pumpkin Pies
